BEFORE WE QUOTE
START WITH THE PROGRAMME
A few details tell us what the seminar actually needs
Send the running order. We can work out the technical side.
A seminar can be very simple or involve several speakers, slides, audience questions and remote contributors. Knowing the programme early makes the quote far more accurate.
How many speakers or sessions are there?
A single presentation may need one or two cameras. Several speakers, panel discussions or audience interaction may benefit from additional angles and an operator following the room.
Do viewers need to see slides or demonstrations?
Presentation feeds, demonstrations and on-screen material can be incorporated into the programme where required. Tell us what the audience in the room will be looking at.
Will there be audience questions or movement around the room?
A roaming camera can be useful for audience Q&A, demonstrations or practical sessions where a locked-off camera would miss important parts of the seminar.
Is this a one-way stream or an interactive Teams / Zoom session?
For a normal one-way web stream we can use our LiveU workflow where appropriate. Microsoft Teams and Zoom require secure, reliable venue internet because the production needs a stable two-way connection.
Do you need separate recordings or edits afterwards?
The live programme can be retained as one recording, or we can quote for separate speaker sessions, trimmed presentations, highlights or shorter training clips.
MULTI-SPEAKER COVERAGE
Give remote viewers a proper view of the room
Seminars often involve more than the person at the lectern. A second or third camera can show other speakers, reactions, questions or demonstrations while presentation material is incorporated into the live programme.
The aim is to make the online audience feel that the programme has been produced for them, rather than simply giving them a distant view of the stage.
SEMINAR & TRAINING COVERAGE
One event can produce more than one useful output
Live seminar
Broadcast the programme to invited or public viewers as it happens.
Full session recordings
Retain individual talks or the complete programme for later viewing.
Edited learning content
Trim sessions, remove breaks and create cleaner material for internal or educational use.
Short promotional edits
Use selected moments to promote the next course, seminar or event.
CONNECTIVITY & VENUE ACCESS
Plan the connection before the delegates arrive
For standard one-way seminar streams, our LiveU Solo Pro workflow can combine mobile connections, with suitable venue internet added where useful.
Teams and Zoom require secure, reliable venue internet. Those platforms need a stable two-way connection and are planned differently from a normal one-way broadcast.
Multi-camera seminars need practical access too. Safe on-site parking or secure venue loading close to the building is essential where several cameras, tripods, sound and streaming cases are being brought in.

SEMINAR LIVE STREAMING FAQ
Practical questions before the event
Can the seminar be private?
Yes. Viewing can be restricted to invited delegates or hosted on a private page with access agreed before the seminar.
Can you include PowerPoint or presentation slides?
Yes. Presentation material can be incorporated into the live programme where the venue and presentation setup allow a suitable feed.
Can remote speakers join through Teams or Zoom?
Yes, but interactive platforms require secure, reliable venue internet. We need to know this in advance so the production is designed around the two-way connection rather than a standard one-way stream.
How many cameras are normally needed?
It depends on the format. One or two cameras can cover a straightforward presentation; panel discussions, audience questions and demonstrations may justify three or four angles, including a roaming camera.
Do we receive recordings afterwards?
Yes. The live programme can be retained for replay or download. Separate talks, trimmed sessions and edited learning content can also be quoted where required.
What do you need from the venue?
Useful information includes room access, setup time, sound-desk arrangements, presentation feeds, available internet and power. Multi-camera productions also require safe on-site parking or secure loading close to the venue.
Planning a seminar with remote viewers?
Send the venue, date, timings and running order. We will come back with a practical camera, sound, presentation and streaming plan.
