LIVE STREAMING FAQ

Questions.
Clear Answers.
Before We Go Live.

We answer the practical questions that affect a live production: cameras, sound, connectivity, private viewing, recording, pricing, access and what happens on the day.

Live streaming production equipment at an event

START WITH THE ESSENTIALS

We Plan Around
Your Actual Event

A reliable live stream starts with the venue, running order and audience. We need to understand where people will watch, how many camera views are useful, how sound will be captured, what connection is available and whether the recording needs further editing.

Send us the exact venue and running order and we can advise on the right production rather than forcing the event into a fixed technical package.

PLANNING & SETUP

Before We Arrive, We Plan the Day

How does the live-streaming service work?

We agree the camera, sound, viewing and recording requirements before the event. We arrive early to install and test the equipment, manage the live production, then supply the recording afterwards.

When is a site visit useful?

A recce is helpful when camera positions, connectivity, sound, access or the venue layout need testing in advance. The listed recce price is £195 plus travel.

How early do you arrive?

Setup normally begins one to three hours before the event. Multi-camera productions typically require around two hours, depending on venue access and complexity.

What information should I send for a quote?

Please send the venue, date, timings, running order, expected audience, preferred number of cameras, viewing arrangements and any known internet details.

VIEWING, PRIVACY & RECORDING

Control Who Watches. Keep What Matters.

Where can the stream be viewed?

We can host the player on a dedicated private page or embed it into an agreed website.

Can people watch after the event?

Yes. We can leave the recording available for replay or supply it for download, according to the agreed arrangement.

Can the viewing page be password protected?

Yes. We can add optional password protection to restrict access to invited viewers.

Can you edit the recording afterwards?

Yes. Post-event editing is an optional service and we quote it according to the required structure, duration, graphics and delivery formats.

CAMERAS, SOUND & CONNECTIVITY

Build the Programme. Protect the Connection.

How many cameras can you provide?

Our listed packages cover one to four cameras. The right number depends on the room, programme, speakers and the visual variety viewers need.

How reliable is the connection?

We assess the venue connection and backup options during planning. Multiple internet connections can be used where planned to improve stability, but no live internet service can be described as completely risk-free.

Do you provide microphones?

Yes. We provide professional audio and multiple microphones where needed. We can also discuss suitable feeds from a venue sound system.

Do you provide lighting?

Yes. We can incorporate lighting where speakers, stages or venue conditions require it.

PRICING & LOGISTICS

Know the Scope. Know the Cost.

How is pricing structured?

Our weekday broadcasts lasting up to one hour are priced by the number of cameras: £499 for one, £599 for two, £650 for three and £700 for four, plus travel where applicable.

Is setup included?

Yes. Normal setup for the listed packages is included. We confirm the agreed access and setup schedule in the final quote.

What if the event lasts longer than one hour?

We provide a tailored quote for longer broadcasts, conferences and multi-part programmes based on duration, crew, cameras and technical requirements.

Do you travel throughout the UK?

Yes. We provide UK-wide coverage, with travel charged where applicable.
