BEFORE WE QUOTE
START WITH THE KEY MOMENT
What absolutely has to be seen, heard and shared live?
The launch should dictate the coverage — not the other way around.
A product reveal, opening, press announcement or live demonstration may each need a different camera and sound plan. Send the running order and tell us what the audience must not miss.
What exactly is being launched?
Tell us whether this is a product reveal, new venue, company announcement, demonstration, press event or something else. The key moment determines where cameras need to be and what viewers need to see.
How many cameras do you need — and should one roam?
A straightforward announcement may need one or two cameras. A larger launch can benefit from three or four angles covering the stage, product, guests and reactions. A roaming camera is useful for demonstrations, audience questions and activity away from the main stage.
Is there a reveal, demonstration or product detail we need to see clearly?
If something specific must be shown — a screen, product feature, ribbon cutting, vehicle, prototype or live demo — tell us beforehand so the camera positions are designed around it.
Where will the remote audience watch?
The stream can be public, private or embedded on an agreed website. If Microsoft Teams or Zoom is involved, tell us at the start because secure, reliable venue internet is required for that interactive setup.
Do you need interviews, highlights or social edits afterwards?
A launch often has value after the broadcast. We can plan for speaker interviews, guest reactions, product detail, event highlights and shorter edits while the crew is already on site.
What venue access and parking is available?
Launches can involve busy public venues and tight build schedules. Multi-camera productions require safe on-site parking or secure venue loading close to the building, plus enough access time to unload, build and test before guests arrive.
LAUNCH EVENT COVERAGE
The announcement is only one part of the event
A useful live programme can move between the main presentation, product detail, demonstrations, guests and reaction without losing sight of the moment everyone came to see.
Main stage or announcement coverage
Keep the principal speaker or reveal covered clearly while allowing the programme to cut away when useful.
Product close-ups and demonstrations
Where viewers need to see detail, an additional camera can be dedicated to the product, screen or demonstration area.
Guest and audience reaction
A roaming or operated camera can bring some of the atmosphere of the room into the broadcast.
Slides, graphics and presentation feeds
Presentation material can be incorporated where the venue AV setup provides a suitable feed.
Private, public or embedded viewing
Viewing arrangements can be planned around press, staff, customers, invited guests or a wider public audience.
Recording and post-launch edits
Retain the full live programme and add highlights, interviews, product clips or shorter edits afterwards if required.
WHAT KIND OF LAUNCH?
Different launches need different coverage
Product launches
Reveal the product clearly and give remote viewers useful close-up detail rather than only a wide shot of the room.
Venue openings
Cover speeches, ribbon cuttings, guests and the space itself with a mix of fixed and mobile angles.
Press announcements
Clear speaker audio and presentation coverage for journalists, stakeholders or teams who cannot attend in person.
Live demonstrations
Plan camera positions around the action so viewers can actually see what is being demonstrated.
CONNECTIVITY & VENUE ACCESS
Do not discover the internet problem five minutes before the reveal
For standard one-way streams, LiveU Solo Pro can combine mobile connections where suitable, reducing reliance on a single venue Wi-Fi connection.
Teams and Zoom are different. Interactive launch events require secure, reliable venue internet because the production needs a stable two-way connection. LiveU Solo Pro is not used as a substitute for that connection.
Access matters too. Multi-camera launches require safe on-site parking or secure venue loading close to the building because of the quantity and value of the equipment being brought in.

LAUNCH EVENT LIVE STREAMING FAQ
Practical questions before launch day
Can the launch stream be private?
Yes. Viewing can be restricted to invited viewers or hosted on a private page where appropriate.
Can you show slides, videos or product demonstrations?
Yes. Presentation feeds can be incorporated where the venue setup allows, while demonstrations can be covered with dedicated camera angles where needed.
Can we use Teams or Zoom?
Yes, but interactive platforms need secure, reliable venue internet. We need to know this before the event so the setup is designed for a stable two-way connection.
How many cameras are normally needed?
One or two cameras can cover a simple announcement. Product detail, guest reaction, demonstrations and movement around the venue may justify three or four angles, including a roaming camera.
Can you create launch highlights afterwards?
Yes. We can quote for a short launch film, interviews, product clips, social edits or other post-event content from the same production.
What access and parking do you need?
Multi-camera work requires safe on-site parking or secure venue loading close to the building, together with enough access time to unload, install and test the production before guests arrive.
Planning a launch event with remote viewers?
Send the venue, date, timings and running order. We will come back with a practical camera, sound, connectivity and streaming plan built around the launch.
